For our client, based in Dublin with operations around Ireland, we currently have vacancies for Experienced Structural Engineers to work in their offices in Cork and Galway (4 positions) Structural Engineers (4 positions)SE/HRKZ/43/2007Main Duties: • Working within a team of engineers and technicians reporting to an Associate level, Group Leader. • Preliminary and Detailed design of Building Structures, development of contract drawings and specifications, for Reinforced Concrete Structures, Structural Steel design, Masonry design, Timber design, Site Works and Drainage design. • Acting as office project manager on some projects suitable to engineer’s level of experience. • Liaising with clients, contractors, local authorities, architects and other design team members • Working to tight deadlines. • Manage and maintain the calculations file for the project • Ensure all calculations prepared for the project are following the QA checking procedures • Update the project plan during the project and complete the site visit risk assessment form and the Form 1 & 2, Design risk assessment, and any other necessary QA form applicable to the project.Key Requirements: • Structural/Civil Degree Qualified and preferably working towards or achieved Chartered Status • Good knowledge, experience and competency in the areas of design listed above. • Experience of range of building solutions and projects • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • Fluent English • Minimium 2-3 years experience in similar role • Good computer skills and in particular structural analysis softwareIf you feel that you are suitable for such a role please immediately email your CV through the link provided belowjse@hrk.pl
