Our client, based in Dublin with operations around Ireland has open vacancy for Site Engineer. The company’s operations cover a wide range of activities, principally in Main Contracting but also Design / Build and Finance, Industrial, Commercial and Residential Developments.Site EngineerSE/HRKZ/41/2007Main duties:• Setting out using total stations. • Interpretation / Coordination of design information for construction teams. • Control of site surveying equipment and calibration register. • Inspection of work and maintenance of Quality Assurance Records. • Implementation of Quality Control measures for concrete work. • Manage and fill out check sheets, as built drawings and ensure archiving is completed correctly. • Liaise with members of design team on queries etc. • Schedule steel reinforcement and other materials requisitions. • Assist in the requisitioning of plant and the control of equipment on site. • Assist the QS in the re-measurement of work, daily outputs etc. • Be fully aware of site safety systems and undertake specific duties in relation to health and safety management.Qualifications and Key Skills: • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar. • Min 2 years post graduate main contractor experience on structures. • Able to identify, analyze and solve problems • Fluent English• Able to work as part of a team • Able to accept responsibility • Willing to contribute and adhere to the safety requirements of the operation. • Flexible approach to workThis vacancy represents an exciting opportunity to join a progressive, expanding company.
