Our client, a large Waterford based manufacturing company, requires an Electrical Engineering Manager for their Waterford based heavy industrial manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager.Electrical Engineering ManagerEEM/HRKZ/37/2007Key Responsibilities:• Manage the electrical maintenance function including the implementation of key projects and development of maintenance systems in support of the safe and efficient operation of the manufacturing plant. • Management of electrical maintenance personnel. • Development of electrical maintenance strategy, including manpower skills development and appropriate preventative maintenance systems. • Electrical & process control problem solving. • Electrical system Re-design. • Optimization of PLC systems architecture. • Manage the implementation of improvement projects. • Ensure compliance with best practice electrical standards. • Provide technical advice and guidance on safety and environmental initiatives. • Monitor & control costs in areas of responsibility.Requirements:• 3rd level electrical engineering degree • 5 years experience in an industrial manufacturing facility • Highly confident in electrical and process control arena.If you feel that you are suitable for such a role please immediately email your CV through the link provided belowjse@hrk.pl
